SDR at Kick-off meeting Zeeuwse Energiedialoog
The Paris climate accord poses a challenge for all of us. During the Zeeuwse Engegiedialoog kick-off meeting on October 5, 2017 the discussion will be centered around the question how we as a region can deal with the energy transition. How do we play our part? Where are the opportunity’s? And how do we connect those impulses to the regional economy (innovation, job market), housing and living environment?
SDR-member Yara will give a pitch and lead a session. The SDR-secretary Wies Saman will be present to inform interested parties about the possibilities that participation in or collaboration with SDR can offer companies in light of the energy transition.
The Zeeuwse Energy dialogue
During the coming months the Zeeuwse Energy Dialogue will bring parties from various markets, knowledge institutes, civil society organizations, citizens and governmental organizations together in a broad social dialogue about the energy transition. The dialogue consists of a kick-off meeting, thematic in-depth sessions and a final, concluding session. The in-depth sessions focus on theme’s such as mobility, sustainable cultivation, built environment, industry, maintenance of energy systems and collaboration. The goal for the Zeeuwse Energy Dialogue is defining the best collective approach to contribute to the climate goals.
The kick-off meeting focusses on: where are we now? What is the major challenge? How do we make this a fitting theme for Zeeland? Theme leaders pitch the subjects for their thematic in-depth session and will entice you to register for the sessions. There is also an information market and enough time to network. But the most important goal is: Which idea’s do you have? Where lies your ambition? What are your needs?
