Cargill B.V. is involved in the production of nutritional ingredients and the processing, spreading and trade of agricultural products.
In the Sas van Gent and Bergen op Zoom Cargill locations we process Cargill wheat and corn to starch, starch derivatives and glucose syrups. These products serve as the foundation for producers in the food industry, such as confectionaries, breweries, beverage manufacturers, dairy industry and bakeries.
We fabricate and distribute many different pure and modified starch derivatives, such as polyols and dextrose for the paper- and corrugated cardboard manufacturers, but also for the chemical or industrial book binding industry. Cargill also produces starch for other industries, such as oil fields and household cleaning supplies.
On a daily basis, our employees work to find methods for creating a more sustainable way in providing nutrition to the world, lessen our impact on the environment and improve the community in which we live and work.
Cargill is active in 70 countries and delivers nutritional-, agricultural-, financial- and industrial products and services. Together with farmers, customers, governments and our communities we help people to grow and develop, leaning on our expertise and 150 year’s worth of experience.
In the Netherlands we produce ingredients for food, such as cacao and chocolate, animal feed, thickeners, emulsifiers and sweeteners, starch and starch derivatives. Additionally we process, spread and trade in various agricultural products.
