In 2023, PZEM strengthened its position by becoming part of the EPH group, with EP Netherlands as the new shareholder and owner. The result is a mix of more than 100 years of energy experience combined with the strength and innovation to further shape our joint ambitions.
With its low-emission gas power stations, EP Netherlands (EP NL) has a market share of approximately 7.5% of the total conventional available power in the Netherlands. This makes EP NL a relevant player in the Dutch energy market.
Thanks to the flexibility of the gas-fired Sloe and Rijnmond power stations, EP NL – in collaboration with PZEM – can quickly respond to changing market conditions such as gas prices, sustainable energy sources and grid conditions.
