The former EP NL organization continues as TTEP Netherlands. Since April 29, 2026, the Dutch energy company has been part of TTEP, a 50/50 partnership between TotalEnergies and EPH headquartered in Amsterdam. For Smart Delta Resources, the Sloe Power Plant in Ritthem is particularly relevant. With a capacity of 940 MW, this plant is an important component of TTEP Netherlands' flexible production capacity.

Flexible electricity production 
TTEP Netherlands builds on a history that, through EP NL and PZEM, has been connected to the Zeeland and Dutch energy sectors for more than a hundred years. TTEP brings together nearly 30 locations in Europe featuring gas-fired and biomass power plants and battery storage. The portfolio comprises approximately 14 GW of installations that are operational or under construction. In 2025, these activities together produced nearly 30 TWh of electricity.

TTEP Netherlands possesses approximately 2.6 GW of flexible production capacity via the Sloe Power Plant, the plants at the Rijnmond site, and a 50 percent stake in Enecogen. Additionally, the company is active in energy trading and optimization, and in energy supply to business customers. In the Netherlands, TTEP is also working on further optimization of installations and on new forms of flexibility, including battery storage.

Sloe Power Plant in Zeeland 
The gas-fired Sloe Power Plant has a capacity of 940 MW. According to TTEP, this corresponds to the average electricity consumption of approximately two million households. Thanks to the plant's flexibility, production can be adjusted to changes in electricity demand, renewable production, and grid conditions, among other factors. In the coming years, TTEP will invest in technical optimizations of the plant, including to further improve start-up time and capacity flexibility.
