VoltH2 will produce green hydrogen at various locations in Europe. The first two hydrogen factories are being developed in Zeeland: in Vlissingen and Terneuzen. VoltH2 in Vlissingen is the start-up project and the focus is on the construction of an approx. 25 MW green hydrogen factory with growth potential to approx. 100 MW, intended for the surrounding industry and freight transport. Flanders and Wallonia sign historic CCS agreement

For the first time, the Flemish and Walloon governments are joining forces with leading industrial companies to accelerate the roll-out of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) in Belgium. On 7 November, a joint declaration was signed at the Holcim site in Obourg (Mons), paving the way for investments in CO₂ infrastructure. This positions Belgium as a crucial hub for decarbonisation in North-Western Europe.
