10/12/2025 SDR FL NCIH workshop (in person): Emerging Sustainable Technologies & SMR in the SDR-region
Join us in person for an infosession of the North Sea Innovation Hub exploring breakthrough technologies that will help industry fast-track its journey to Net Zero by 2050!
Part 1
The event opens with a presentation and discussion on ENGIE’s Emerging Sustainable Technologies Reports (2025 edition), highlighting innovations in molecules, electrification and digitalization. Learn how these solutions can cut emissions, enable sustainable feedstocks, drive high-temperature electrification and boost efficiency through AI.
Part 2
Next, we introduce the rising role of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs): what they are, why global leaders such as DOW, Google, Amazon, Equinix, ArcelorMittal, Shell, ExxonMobil and Chevron are integrating them into their strategies, and how SMRs can deliver reliable, low-carbon energy for industrial processes.
We close with a look at developments in North Sea Port, including innovative SMR-driven high-temperature heat storage (>500°C). These solutions offer new flexibility for both heat and power applications and may become gamechangers for energy-intensive industries.
